MARTIAL HAS STILL HIT

French striker Anthony Martial was the only scorer in the MU game against Burnley. It confirms its beautiful form of the moment.
Anthony Martial is on a roll right now. Since the beginning of the new year, the French striker stacks successful performances and goals with his formation of Manchester United. That was still the case on Sunday at Turf Moor, Burnley's Den. In a double-close match, where his team struggled a lot to be dangerous, the former Monegasque unlocked the situation with a superb winning streak.

We played in the 54th minute, and on a quick attack, Romelu Lukaku managed to serve his attacking partner. Martial did not ask himself questions. Seeing enough space in front of him, he was armed with a shot of the unstoppable right following a control of the left. The ball ended at the end just in front of the crossbar. This was his 9th goal of the season and not the ugliest. It was also the third time in a row that he scored in the league. A first since he arrived in England in 2015.
Except Martial, no Mancunian has been threatening in this game. Before scoring, the Frenchie had already sought to find the flaw of a shot at the entrance to the surface (45th). And at the end of the game, he was ready for a 1-2 (88th) but Pope neutralized his shot. If not ? Only Ashley Young had taken the initiative to try a shot, but the try was missed (42). That's not enough and it only reinforces the idea that this Red Devils team is struggling to secure the show. Present in the stands, Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton must have been greatly bored.

Regarding the Burnley team, she was entrepreneurial and often found herself in a good position. But it was of no consequence on the bulletin board. The fault was a lack of success, with a shot from Gudmundsson on the cross following a free kick (57) or a two-meter recovery goals missed by Tarkowski (71). Finally, there was also an opportunity to Barnes (77th) not converted, and a hand of Chris Smalling in the surface (58th) that the referee deemed non-voluntary. MU has been varnished, but relying on luck and / or Martial to get away from bad times does not augur a happy tomorrow for the band in Mourinho.
