Arsenal have emerged as unlikely suitors ready to throw out-of-favour Chelsea defender David Luiz a lifeline.
The Brazilian is out in the cold at Stamford Bridge and has not played since picking up a knee injury in October.
Luiz is now back in training but he still faces an uncertain future, and the Daily Express report that the Gunners are ready to test Chelsea's willingness to sell to a Premier League rival.
